Building in Montrose Colorado for one of the easiest customers and hardest houses to build. We had to have cassions under the entire foundation and I had to make over 100 phone calls looking for someone to drill the holes. The customer and myself worked relentlessly to find a company that would do what we needed. After weeks of calling we finally found a company to do the job and we were started.
The grade on this job had 7' of fall and we needed a lot of dirt to make our project a reality. We got a bunch of dirt from the new, at that time, Federal Express building. Since we had done the erection of the building, I asked if we could get some of the dirt left over. You can see how tall the house is in the air. That dirt made them a yard. If I hadn't met the GC on the job they would have paid a mint to get all the dirt we needed.
